The Eagle and Condor Unite!
Winter Solstice in Peru
June 16th - June 25th
2012

During the Winter Solstice in Peru, we will be gathering to share in sacred ceremonies with the Inca Wisdom Keepers and the Condor people.  We will stay in Inti Ayllu Healing Center, where the Sacred Fire was activated in 1992 after being turned off for 500 years.  Our presence will give strength to the ancient prophecy of the Eagle and Condor and help to create personal and planetary transformation!

The Ancient Inca Prophecy of the Eagle and Condor said that humankind diverged into two paths.  One group walked the path of the Condor, following their hearts and intuition, all along holding a deep connection to the earth.  The other group took the path of the Eagle, following their rational mind and material reality, turning toward the way of science. It was also said that for 500 years the people of the Eagle would nearly destroy the people of the Condor.  And indeed, that has happened.  The prophecy also foretold of a time when the Condor and the Eagle would choose to fly together again, creating something new and remarkable by merging their two worlds.

Interview with Inca messenger Willaru Huayta published in the book, "Profiles in Wisdom" by Steve McFadden
"We have been waiting five hundred years. The Inca prophecies say that now, in this age, when the eagle of the North and the condor of the South fly together, the Earth will awaken. The eagles of the North cannot be free without the condors of the South. Now it's happening. Now is the time. The Aquarian Age is an era of light, an age of awakening, an age of returning to natural ways. Our generation is here to help begin this age, to prepare through different schools to understand the message of the heart, intuition, and nature. Native people speak with the Earth. When consciousness awakens, we can fly high like the eagle, or like the condor... Ultimately, you know, we are all native, because the word native comes from nature, and we are all parts of Mother Nature. She is inside us, and we are inside her. We depend totally on the Earth, the Sun, and the Water. We belong to the evolution of nature in our physical bodies. But we also have a spiritual body that comes from the Sun, not the Sun you can see with two eyes, but another Sun that lies in another dimension, a golden Sun burning with the fire of spiritual light. The inner light of humans emanates from this spiritual source. We came to Earth from this Sun to have experiences on Earth, and eventually we will return to this Sun. We are children of the Sun."

“We must unlearn to learn”~ Inca Wisdom Keeper Vidal Sinchez

We invite you to join us on a 10 day journey of transformation! The solstice is about the transition of the sun, which at a natural level, is related to natural rhythms and cycles of which we are all a part of and nourished. It is also to do with solar and lunar aspects of ourselves, with our own inner light and darkness, with personal transformation—from inner death to spiritual rebirth through fire. A time of connection between the heavens and the earth, the personal and the divine, the inner and the outer, the material and the spiritual,  a time when contact through mystical experiences is made more possible!

PHYSICAL DEMANDS of this trip: There are a lot of steps in each site and lots of walking in high altitude. Most healthy people are able to enjoy this trip with ease. We walk slowly and take our time. We are a spiritual group, so we don't rush.  We have had people suffering with asthma, cancer and physical difficulties and they were able to do the trip without too much difficulty.  If spirit is calling you to come we will do everything possible to make it happen for you.  We recommend that you begin to increase your cardio endurance and step climbing prior to the trip, to ease the physical demands.

ON ALTITUDE:   We have a lot of advice for dealing with the altitude in our  Guide Book. If you follow our suggestions, you should do wonderfully.  People with heart disease and/or anemia can have more difficulties. (Have your doctor check your iron levels so you can improve this before arriving in Peru)

Accommodations:  We will spend 1 night in a hotel in Lima and 2 nights in the historical, fun little city of Cusco.  The rest of our nights will be spent at Inti Ayllu Spiritual Healing Center, the first Spiritual Healing Center in South America and also the site of activating the Sacred Fire in 1992 after 500 years!  Inti Ayllu is a unique little community with beautiful gardens, vegetation, Coricancha (Temple of the Sun) for ceremonies and yoga, dorm style rooms that house 2-3 people in a room, outdoor toilets and shower facilities with a community kitchen where we have our meals together.  Most days that we’re not traveling early in the AM, Vidal has a spiritual practice of yoga and greeting the sun, then hitting the cold showers!  It’s really very refreshing and rejuvenating.  A wonderful way to begin the day!  In the evening we usual have a ceremony to give thanks for the day in the Coricancha(sun temple).  Vidal always blows the conch shell to call people in!  Because of this set up there is no single occupancy or change in pricing in that way.  You will have the opportunity to experience Peru in a way that many don't.  The meals that will be provided while at Inti Aylla are simple and traditional.  Most people really enjoy the food and there are lots of tasty soups, homemade rolls,  cheese and other yummy things!
*If you have food allergies or food preferences please let me know ahead of time.

Shopping: I have not included specific times for shopping but there will be ample time for shopping and connecting with local people in many of the places we go.  If you’re not a shopper there will be extra time to meditate and connect!

Clothing:  I will provide a check list on registration but general rule is layering.  It can be cooler in the morning and by lunch, very hot! Rule of thumb is be prepared for anything!

Trip Includes: Airfare from Lima to Cusco/Cusco to Lima.  All accommodations, all transportation while in Peru (this includes taxies to and from airports).  All breakfasts, supper is provided while at Inti Ayllu but not while in Cusco.  Entrance fees for those sites that require it.  Train to and from Machu Picchu.

Trip Does Not Include: Airfare to Lima, tips to porters, maids, hotel bellmen, bus drivers and helpers, all lunches and dinners while not at Inti Ayllu, bottled water,  Gifts to bring home!
*Please consider an honorarium for Juan for all the hard work and special care he gives to us.
*If the group wishes we can collect a set amount from each person of say $20 and give to Juan to pay tips out to porters, bus drivers ect.

Testimonials

Jane is a naturally born sacred heart and lives and teaches with impeccable authenticity. Many in the world pretend to be, what Jane simply is. It is rare and precious in                                                                                 deed to be able to share the planet with Jane and others like her.                                                                                        ~ Aluna Joy Yaxk’in

I was blessed to be a part of Jane's maiden Spiritual Pilgrimage in August of 2009.  I appreciated all the planning and organizing it took to accommodate eleven people.  Each day there was something new to experience and ceremony to participate in.  Jane,Videl, Jaun and his team gave us 100% of themselves. Even when you didn't realize you needed help a gentle hand would reach out and offer assistance.  In a strange country it can be frightening, they made sure we were well looked after.  From where to eat and shop to where the most sacred spiritual sights were.  It was a wonderful experience to fly with the eagle and the condor and to worship mother earth and all her glory.  If you have ever thought of going to Peru joining Jane on a Pilgrimage will be everything you have ever dreamed of and more.  I know because I spent 18 glorious days with her and her team and it was more than I dreamed of.

Was fortunate to go on Jane’s Spiritual Pilgrimage to Peru in July, 2010.  Thought I would come away with a huge epiphany.  Well did not come away with a huge epiphany but I did come away with many powerful small ones.  Loved it!!

“My journey in Peru still resonates with me so.   If you want to experience a heart opening like none other, then I encourage you to go on this trip.  Do not expect to be wined and dined but do expect to have a spiritual experience while you connect with the people, the land  and the subtle yet profound whisperings from the sacred sites.  I came home back to Toronto  truly knowing that we are just a mere spec within an unknown universe of immense possibility”
In Love and Light,
                                                                                                                         ~Terry Swan
Dear Jane,  my pilgrimage to Peru in August, 2009, was for me life changing.  I came back to Nova Scotia expecting magic and, when you expect magic, it arrives in                                                                                various forms.  My world has quadrupled forever.  I thank you and bless you for this!                                                              ~ Louisa

The focus of this journey to Peru was truly what I had been hoping for.  Instead of the usual "vacation trip" filled with sightseeing and gift buying, the emphasis was on our spiritual journey and how we as people from "turtle island" fit into the bigger picture of children of Mother Earth and was a wonderful exchange of culture and blessings. Vidal and Juan couldn't have been nicer and more patient with our lack of local language and were most helpful with translations so that we took back with us knowledge to help others.  thank you , wala'lin Jane

First off I want to say that I had an amazing trip!  I am still not really able to express in words how much it meant to me.  I am back in the “real world” now but I’m still trying to process the experience to be able to explain it to people.  The only words I have are amazing and perfect!  I think that the trip was organized very well, I appreciate that the details given were well thought out and the itinerary of the trip was also thought out.  The information given to us before the trip, the guide and the little tips given by you were helpful. The buses we were in for transport were great, I loved having our own buses and our drivers were good.  It was such an honor to have Vidal spend so much time with us.  I am so grateful for that and I appreciate the opportunity to be at his place and spend the day with him.  I loved having the sweat lodge and am so glad that was planned.  Juan was such an amazing guide.  I really love him and he made the trip so smooth.  His helpers that we had throughout the trip were wonderful as well.  It was great to have them with us and made the whole experience wonderful. Jane, I really appreciate the attention that you showed to everyone on the trip, I did really feel like a little eaglet.  You were so attentive to us (me) and seemed to check in with everyone.  You were so honest about your experience from previous and from now that it was such an honor to have you be our guide.  More than a tour guide!!!   I don’t know how difficult it was for you but I can imagine how hard it may have been to try to have your own experience and spiritual connection while being in “charge” of 10 others, you seemed to have been able to manage it quite well and I applaud you for that.  Jane, I really appreciate the amount of work that you and Juan did to organize the trip and it showed because I think it ran quite smoothly.  I would not hesitate to go again (when I have the money) and I think a second trip would be even better than the first!                                                       ~Shauna

TOUCHED BY THE SACRED
About a year before I went to Peru I had a vision, on one of my soul’s journey. I got visited by a condor in my sanctuary. I didn’t know at first it was a condor until I did some research on the kind of bird I saw. He invited me to hop on his back and took me to the highest mountain, dropped me there and left. Look and listen, he said.  I don’t know how long I stayed, but I remember back at the sanctuary, he was facing me, telling me not to be afraid, and got closer to me until I could feel his feathers on my skin, and disappeared inside of me? Through me? I have no idea.
While doing my research on the condor, the readings lead me to the Inca civilization that had vanished a few hundred years ago, and I felt instantly connected to their cosmology. The days and months that followed my experience, were a series of synchronicities in my life, to the day I saw Jane’s ad about a pilgrimage to Peru. I knew then that my real journey was about to start.
The most significant moments of my trip to Peru (2009) were the precious teachings from our guide (Vidal ) our “mountain goat” I called him. Teachings about the Inca Civilization, the way they lived, their beliefs, their connection to Mother Nature, to the Cosmos, and to the Legacy they left us, and the energy that you still feel on the grounds they walked.  Vidal doesn’t only teach about the Incas but also makes the connection to the birth of Jesus. One story that fascinated me and struck a chord deep in my soul was the story of the three kings, how they found the stable were a Christ child was to be born, how they had studied the path of the stars and stayed strong in their beliefs.
As we were walking the mountain trail of Maccu Pichu, a condor appeared to greet us and I remember Vidal’s great joy on that glorious day, and I feel blessed to have been a part of that particular moment.  During the ceremonies we’ve had on various sacred grounds, I could feel the solidarity in our group as well as the solidarity of all the elements of Mother Earth, the planets, the stars and the vibrational energy that is still present in the invisible hearts and souls, and in the silence of those sacred mountains and stones.
My return home. I went on with my life as usual but after a few days I started to experiment unusual sensations. I started to feel being lifted off the ground in a straight line upwards as being transported inside a warm and weightless energy field.  People said to me I was levitating but whatever it was it felt really good and I embraced every moment of it. My advice to you who plan a trip to the sacred grounds in Peru is to really pay attention to your life, prior to your trip, on sites, and afterwards. Sacred energies will visit you, you don’t know when, but if you keep your heart open, and you allow your soul to speak to you through different kinds of energies, you will find yourself on a path of great fulfillment.  Treat your dreams and visions as if they were the most enlightening messengers. Listen to the sounds and signs in Nature and to the silence within and outside yourself. Don’t be afraid. Embrace each moment life offers because you never know when the sacred will meet you on your path, but when it does, you will know that you’ve been touched by it.
This trip has been a stepping stone to the biggest dream I’ve had since childhood. To write, and make a difference in the life of others.  Recently I just published a story called “Soul Imprints” where I explain the soul’s journey through dreams and past memories, and I’m living my dream.

Journey to UFO Mountain Peru
It was the Peruvian summer of 2007 when i first met Juan in the beautiful Andean town of Cusco.  He was one of our guides on a spiritual journey of the Incas with Aluna Joy and co. Over the two weeks we became good friends and he soon informed me of his unique knowledge of the less traveled paths of the mountains. He is a man that loves adventure and discovery.
When I heard that he had seen UFOs with his own eyes and many a witness numerous times over the years, I was eager to hear more. The stories he told of the landscapes and the journey to the ufo sightings were fascinating and I did not hesitate in taking on Juan's service as my personal guide to the UFO mountain. It was one decision I never regretted!
Juan organized the whole 5 day trip, from travel, food supplies, donkeys, camping equipment and even the cook! Along for the journey came Joel, Juan's brother-in-law who had become also a good friend over the last weeks. He too had heard the many stories but never had the opportunity to see it for himself. I was glad to have such good friends to share this adventure with.
We began our journey early one morning on a local bus out to a small mountain village way off the tourist path. Here we were warmly welcomed, amongst the donkeys and chickens, by our new friends who would be joining us on the journey.
We began our trek into the mountains with a local friend of Juan's who knew the mountains like the back of his hand. I was already fascinated by the scenery as we walked up the mountain trails, but it was not until a couple of hours into the journey that the rock formations began to appear. From this point on I was like a small child in a new world of wonderment, eyes wide in excitement.
That nature had created such beautiful sculptures from the land was more then enough to convince a man that there is much more to this existence then what we ever could have imagined. All the photos i took to try to capture the majesty of these creations could not even get close to portraying the truly astonishing energies these landscapes carried.
That night we set up camp in amongst the mountain walls, only just in time to watch the sun set. Once darkness had set in upon us, Juan began to point out some lights in the distant canyon. These were the lights he told me many had seen. At first my logical mind began talking in my head saying “These are surely just village lights, torches in the distance or cars on the mountain roads”.
We picked up our torches and left the Chef to preparing dinner while we made our way along a overgrown path towards a special place Juan informed us we would be able to see everything in the canyons. With the mountain wall climbing drastically on our left and falling away to our right, we chose our steps wisely in the dark.
Suddenly the path opened out as we reached a open plateau with a 360degree view of the area. It was here Juan informed me, that he had seen one of the UFOs up close, within 20m.
We were all getting excited as Juan pointed out the various lights that we could see moving around the canyon. My logic mind was proven wrong when Juan pointed out that there was no village in that area, and if there were roads they would not be in the formation that the lights were flying! This i confirmed with my own eyes the next morning as we walked past the view.
If this was not enough, then we noticed that deeper in the mountains we could see what appeared to be a triangle of three red dots hovering, much like the old TV shows with UFOs on a string! This was beyond any reasoning and I had to admit that i was looking at a true UFO. It was ironic to think that I had discounted many UFO sighting videos because they looked extremely fake as if hanging on a string. Yet hear i was watching one with my own eyes, and i can tell you there definitely were no strings attached!!
After admiring these lights and their movements in the valley, I was blown away when another bright light appeared from behind one of the mountains, at first much like the others, but then what appeared to be a search light appeared and scanned the distant mountain foliage before taking off back behind the mountain. It was then that any doubts that UFOs exist simply disappeared in my mind. Here i was watching the most unbelievable sightings just as Juan had spoken of.
We returned that night talking excitedly amongst ourselves of what we had seen and were welcomed back at camp by a delicious three course meal prepared and served by the chef and his assistants, who also joined us for the meal. That night I slept like a baby, my dream of seeing UFOs had been fulfilled!
The next days we spent journeying through the mountains exploring the hidden secrets of the old civilizations. Amongst the many sites we stumbled across, was an old tomb, long since raided for valuables, but the bones of the ancestors were still there. Skulls lined along the walls and full skeletons scattered throughout.
We passed through and stayed in a couple of small villages, spending time with the locals and their children. Their way of life was very touching to the soul. To see children so happy with so little materialism almost made me cry. Joel and I entertained the children to the best we could with our impromptu circus show. Seeing them laugh was heart warming.
On our arrival back in Cusco, Juan dropped me back at my hostel where many a friend was waiting eagerly for the stories. Every time I tell this story, I feel like Indiana Jones inside. What an adventure.
Juan Miranda is the most genuine, honest, caring and knowledgeable guides you will ever find. He also had become a true friend and I cannot recommend this man enough. Take an adventure with Juan and I will personally guarantee you the best time of your life! Feel free to contact me any time for confirmation of this at circus.stance@gmail.com or by telephone at +61 410 098 548.
